Canberra was AWESOME! I do not even know where to start! The best part by far was definitely the National Gallery of Australia. I just loved seeing all the art and reading how the artists became so famous. My second favourite was Questacon. I loved how there was always something to do. The best level for me was the last one. There was a big slide, air hocky and so much more. If I had the chance to go again, I would.

On the Canberra trip, I liked going to the War Memorial because it showed different stories about soldiers who fought in the war. Some inspiring and some sad. I liked going to Questacon because it had many different Science gadgets, like the earthquake simulator, the tornado and the angry arms. Finally, yet importantly, was the accommodation, because the beds came with nice fluffy pillows, a warm blanket and a soft mattress. We even had our own private bathrooms. Overall it was a great camp and I would recommend that you send your children on it because it is a great learning experience and lots of fun.

My favourite part of the annual Year 6 Canberra trip was The AIS. It was fun getting a tour and getting to see just how well the women’s volleyball team played. I also really enjoyed Sportex, as I was able to compete against all my friends in a wheel chair race simulator and skiing simulator race.

My highlight of the 2018 Canberra trip would one hundred percent be the Australian War Memorial. We all learnt lots about war and how extremely grateful we should be for all the people that have died serving and protecting our country. I especially loved how realistic everything was. For example the light shows and the wax people. This made us all feel as if it were all real. I would definitely recommend going there to anyone keen to know more about past wars. To all the future year sixers at Good Shepherd, trust me, you are going to have the time of your life!

I enjoyed Floriade, the flower festival because of all the lovely smells of the different types of flowers and because the band was playing all these golden oldies which made Mrs Hardy sing along! It was quite entertaining! I also enjoyed EVERYTHING at Questacon because everything was different and unique. However, my biggest highlight was when we were in our room, hanging out, because I didn't really hangout with all of them at school, until now. I loved when we were telling each other our jokes!
